This is Too Big, Too Hard

“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”” Mark 9:23

“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” Mt. 19:26

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13

“This is too big. This is too hard,” I moaned. “But it’s not too big for you,” I immediately told Jesus when the Spirit of God reminded me of this.

NOTHING is impossible with God. NOTHING is too big for God. NOTHING is too hard for God. If it’s the Lord’s will, and if it brings God glory, He will make the impossible possible. He will make the too big doable. He will make the too hard achievable. In His strength. In His mercy. In His love. In His grace. In His compassion. In His kindness. In His provision. FOR HIS GLORY.

I have been working once again on the logistics for my next big location out on the road full-time for the Lord and ministry. Too big. Too hard. That’s what I felt in my heart. No way. No can do. Impossible. Why not just quit now?

Why not quit? Here’s why. When the Lord calls us to something, we need to say YES. We need to not just say YES. We need to do YES. In other words, we need to obey. And, when it’s His will, He will show forth His glory and carry us through and work everything out in a manner that brings Him glory.

Our job? Lovingly humbly reverently submit to God. And instead of quitting because it seems and feels and looks too big and too hard and totally impossible, we need to do this. BELIEVE IN THE LORD. In who He is, and in what He can and will do when it’s HIS WILL.

I knew what I needed to do. Not quit. Persevere. Press on. For the glory of the Lord. And so I shall. I shall go forth in the strength of Jesus for the glory of the Lord almighty.

How about you? Has God called you to something that seems too big, too hard, and totally impossible? Don’t quit. Yield yourself utterly to God and His Word and carry on in His strength and mercy for His ultimate glory!
