Love. Worship. Tell.

“Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”” Mark 12:29-31

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”” John 4:23-24

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

Sometimes in my morning time with the Lord I seek Him for a message for the day for myself. All His messages to me are powerful. Some stand out, however, more than others. And some I am quite sure are not for me alone. I believe they are for others also. Maybe even you. Like this one.

These are the three main words He gave me. Why? His greatest commands are to LOVE Him with all our hearts and to LOVE others as ourselves. We are to live our lives in submission to and in love and WORSHIP of Christ. Worship isn’t about singing songs in church, though certainly praising the Lord in song in church blesses Him when our hearts are in the praising and singing. But we are to live a lifestyle of WORSHIP. Of adoration, reverence, honor, praise, exaltation of, lifting up of, raising up, elevating, singing to, living for, bringing pleasure and joy to, and glorifying – CHRIST! And we are to TELL the world about the Lord Jesus Christ and how to have a forever relationship with Him. And we are to help people not just believe in Jesus, but to follow Him day by day in intimate relationship with Him as sovereign God.

Some of us have a tendency to complicate our lives. And to complicate our to-do lists for those of us who keep them. And to fill our schedules and calendars to overflowing. And to be busy, busy, busy. So busy, in fact, we may get our priorities out of order. Or, worst yet, miss our greatest priority altogether. The one who should be our greatest priority, that is. The one who should be preeminent in our lives.

Oh, if we would only live each and every day with these three words active in our lifestyles. Active in our hearts. Active in our thoughts, feelings, actions. Our choices, decisions. Our activities.

If we would live like this.

Love. Worship. Tell.

Love the Lord with all your heart, dear friend. Love others in His name. Worship the Lord with all your heart. Continually. Do everything in your life to bring glory to God. And tell the world about Jesus. Don’t stop telling. Tell, tell, tell. For this world – every single one of us you and me included – needs to turn from our sins in true sorrow over them to God and His ways with our faith and devotedness placed firmly in Christ as Lord forever!

Love. Worship. Tell.

Are you? Do, friend, do! Do love. Do worship. Do tell.

May the Lord Jesus Christ be your greatest love, your greatest desire, your greatest longing. Hunger for Him. Thirst for Him. Crave Him. Seek after Him. Chase after Him. Be passionate for Him. Yearn for Him. Yearn for the Bible. Yearn for righteousness. Submit your life day in and day out to Jesus. Live for Jesus the Christ.

Love love love.
Worship worship worship.
Tell tell tell.
