When Jesus Isn’t #1

“And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18

Is the Lord Jesus Christ NUMBER ONE in your life? Does He have preeminence in your heart? In your life? Is He your highest priority? In your thinking, your words, your decisions, your goals, your dreams, your direction, your relationships, your actions? Is He more important to you than anything and anyone? Is He the love of your life? Do you love anything or anyone more than you love Jesus? Is He your Lord? Your King? Your Savior? Do you pursue Jesus more than anything and anyone on a continual basis?

We aren’t perfect in anything as humans, are we? But we can strive to go in the right direction. And, when we find ourselves falling short, we can receive correction and make the necessary changes.

When Jesus isn’t first in our lives, there is nothing more important to do than this.

Give the Lord Jesus Christ preeminence. Make Him number one. Live and breathe to give God glory. If our priorities are out of order, it’s time to make the change.

The Lord Jesus Christ. Number one. Always. Forever and ever, AMEN!
