“He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He.” Deuteronomy 32:4
“As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Psalm 18:30
One day a wave of reassuring peace came over me. Why? The Lord had me in a refining fire, I was undeniably uncomfortable in the midst of it, and when in a similar position in the past I would have doubted anything and everything – including God! But this time was different. The Lord had taken me over the years to a level of trust and abiding in Him I had not until then known. Why the wave of such peace in the thick of a fiery trial?
God is NEVER wrong. He is ALWAYS right. He ALWAYS knows what He’s doing. He has a purpose in what He does and in what He allows. He has plans that are always perfect. He sees everything from beginning to end. He is all knowing and all powerful. He is God. He is Lord. He is King. He is forever.
He is healer, redeemer, Savior, Father, friend, leader, Shepherd, faithful, loyal, love, light, hope, peace, and comfort. If He was allowing my circumstances, which He clearly was, HE HAD GOOD REASON. He had GOD REASON. He had the PERFECT reason. He is NEVER EVER wrong. He knew what He was doing in me, and through me, with me and for me, and I didn’t need to doubt Him for an instant.
The Lord who had allowed my trying circumstances and was refining me in the midst of them was the Lord who would give me the love, forgiveness, wisdom, strength, mercy, peace, joy, hope, grace, comfort, compassion, and every other provision necessary, as He brought His perfect plan and purpose to pass.
We live in an imperfect world, and we humans are all imperfect. But God is ALWAYS PERFECT and is NEVER WRONG. That to which He had led me He would lead me through – for my growth, to use me to love and help others, and for HIS GLORY.
God is NEVER WRONG. May we learn day by day, moment by moment, to place our trust IN HIM. And, as He leads us through our trials, may we give Him ALL THE GLORY, AMEN!
